We found that the Lucid mattress is perfect for hot sleepers, couples and those who sleep mainly on their side! The gel memory foam has wonderful cooling properties, while offering proper body support. The foam also absorbs all motion, so if you are sleeping with a partner and they toss and turn – you won’t feel a thing!
For a memory foam mattress it does tend to be a bit on the firm side and has a rating of 7.5 out of ten on the firmness scale. When you initially lay down on the mattress you will certainly ‘sink’ into it a bit and immediately begin feeling the gel memory foam contour to your body. It’s a wonderful feeling and very relaxing! It has a wonderful mix of cozy and supportive.
Construction & Quality
Cover: The cover material is crafted with Tencel, which is an eco-friendly material made from wood cellulose. Typically this material is used as a cotton substitute. Is super soft, very breathable and cool to the touch!
Comfort Layer: The top layer is made up of 3” of gel memory foam. The foam responds slowly to pressure, so the sleeper is able to sink into it for quick pressure relief. It really is a nice feeling!
Base Layer: Just below the gel memory foam there is a 7” layer of high density poly foam. This material is firm and quick to respond to pressure. This creates the perfect support system for the top layer of gel memory foam.
