Our Review
Trying to decide on a mattress but don’t know which one to choose? We’ve got you covered. Serta is one of the leading mattress companies on the market, having 90 years of service worldwide under its belt. Every Serta mattress is custom built to provide specific and individual needs to its customers.
The Serta iComfort CF4000 Plush was created to go above and beyond regular comfort. Layered with Carbon Fiber Memory Foam, Air Support Foam, and Ultra Cool PCM, it was made to draw heat away from the body to give even the warmest sleeper a cool and enjoyable night of sleep. Moreover, the multi-layered mattress with cooling foam technology includes additional support, temperature regulation, and adaptability to provide its user with an amazing night of sleep every single night!
Because everyone deserves to sleep on a mattress that will give them optimum comfort, the iComfort CF4000 Plush is one of the best choices they can make for themselves.
Here, we will further discuss the comfort type, kind of layers, and materials used to help you make an informed decision on the best mattress for your needs and wants.
Mattress Firmness, Comfort Type, and Height
Because the iComfort CF4000 Plush mattress comes with a firmness rating of 7 on the Mattress Comfort Scale®, it means that it’s softer than others. It is often compared to the same way it feels when sleeping on a waterbed, or in a bed with a down mattress cover on the top.
However, it is not highly recommended for sleepers that prefer to sleep on their back or sides, since they tend to prefer firmer surfaces to feel more comfortable. At 13.5” in height, this mattress is also considered to have a conforming softness, making it exceedingly comfortable to sleep on.
Layers
Like many of Serta’s other specialty mattresses, this one is equipped with five different layers that work together for maximum sleep, comfort and support.
Max Cold™ Cover
The top of the mattress is made of super cool-high performance fibers, making the top layer have an instant cool-to-the-touch sensation as you lie down. It also encourages falling asleep faster, while lessening the problems of tossing and turning throughout the night. This special Max Cold™ Cover is only available in the CF3000 and CF4000 models, making this mattress a great choice.
UltraCold™ System
Serta’s UltraCold™ System provides a layer of extra-cool Carbon Fiber Memory Foam, which is designed to absorb any extra heat from your body and pull it away as you sleep. This ensures temperature regulated sleep, allowing for a superb night of rest.
Carbon Fiber Memory Foam
Serta uses their exclusive Carbon Fiber Memory Foam when making their iComfort mattresses. Aside from this specialty system channeling heat away from you as you sleep, it also contours to the body to provide amazing support for your neck and back. Moreover, it also helps relieve any aches and pains as you sleep peacefully throughout the night.
EverCool® Supreme Memory Foam
This is yet another layer that fuses premium memory foam and cooling gel together, providing immense comfort while relieving pressure as you rest. The memory foam is so cozy, it almost feels like you’re being cuddled as you sleep.
Air Support™ Foam
Another innovative layer used in this iComfort mattress is the Air Support™ Foam, which works to move with your body to alleviate any aches and pains. Overall, this incredible mattress gives its users a luxurious feel, keeping you feeling cool, calm, and incredibly rested when you wake up after a great night of sleep.

Warranty & Trial Period
With over 36 manufacturing plants within the United States, aside from the other resellers, purchasing a Serta mattress is both easy and quick. Even buying your mattress online is a great option since Serta.com offers free delivery for its customers. Serta also offers a 120-day-in-home trial period, which allows their customers the option to return the mattress within those 120-days if they wish to return it, free of charge! But Serta is so sure of their products that they truly believe that you’re going to love it. All they ask is that their customers sleep on the mattress for at least 30 days straight during the trial period to make sure that they really give their body a chance to adjust to the mattress before making a final decision on their purchase.
In case you buy your mattress from a reseller, be sure to discuss the return policy with them to best understand how they may help you with your return, if necessary.
Furthermore, Serta believes in the quality and durability of their mattresses so much that their warranty falls under their Serta Quality Assurance Program, which offers a 10-year limited warranty to their customers. Once you purchase a mattress, you should be given a warranty brochure that certifies any material defects and workmanship throughout the coverage period. Notably, it does not cover consumer damage and comfort issues. Serta’s Customer Service for warranty service can be contacted at 1-888-55-SERTA from Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm EST.
